The CC3251 snapvent is the most popular of the current vents available. It should be sufficient for most applications. The back wall of the ventilator creates an air flow turn of close to 90 deg. That makes this ventilator most useful installed next to and slightly in front of, the area to be cooled. The wire inside the ventilator is a tension wire. It’s purpose is to help the part maintain tension against the window where it is installed. No user adjustments are required. It is not a handle for the part.
